The library celebrated Halloween and Day of the Dead with in-person activities and take-home kits!

Families participating in the library's Virtual Toddler Tales attended a special Halloween event on October 29th. The children came in their costumes and enjoyed a morning filled with fun activities. They got to pick a pumpkin, win a prize from our prize wheel, and had a blast with a bubble party.

El Gabilan and Cesar Chavez Library hosted Day of the Dead Sugar Skull decorating celebrations. Patrons of all ages celebrated Day of the Dead by decorating skulls into works of art. We had a total of 165 participants. John Steinbeck Library patrons sweetened up their altars with our take-home decorating kits. Thank you to all the participants who celebrated with us!
