#LitLibLoot is a no cost book subscription program for teens. When you sign up you will receive 2-3 YA books picked specifically for you. While any library items included in the subscription must be returned, all the special mystery loot is yours to keep!

Sign-up for Winter/Spring in the new year!

  • The sign-up survey will be open from January through April on a rolling basis to receive your subscription(s) between February and May! You can sign up for one month OR two alternating months (February and April OR March and May) at a time per sign-up cycle. Fill out the form to choose what work best for you!
  • We will check in with you at the beginning of the month(s) you choose and remind you that your subscription is on its way. You can then expect to be contacted to pick up your subscription around the middle of the month.

Teens in grades 6-12 with Salinas Public Library cards.

How do I sign up for #LitLibLoot?

Signing up is easy! All you need to do is fill out a #LitLibLoot Sign Up Survey.

What is the #LitLibLoot Sign Up Survey?

The #LitLibLoot Sign Up Survey is a bunch of questions that lets our librarians know a lot of things, including which branch you would like to pick up your subscription! It also tells them what you're into, both in general and as a reader. That way they can pick out books that will fit your reading tastes and hopefully be interesting for you. It also helps them pick out your mystery gifts. Basically, the more information you provide in the survey, the better the librarians can create a subscription that is uniquely yours.

What are the mystery gifts?

NO SPOILERS! That said, the more you tell us, the more personalized we can make your mystery gifts! Think about your favorite snacks, fandoms, things you like to collect, etc. If you think it will fit in your subscription, it won't hurt to tell us in your survey.
