Our mild fall climate provides us with a fantastic opportunity for year-round gardening. The versatility of grow bags makes it possible to cultivate vegetables and flowers even if you have limited space.  

Join us for a special gardening program where you can make the most of this extended growing season. UC Master Gardeners will guide you on which plants thrive on shorter days and cooler nights, helping you make informed choices for your garden.  

Each household will receive a grow bag, potting soil, and a watering can. These grow bags are an excellent option for those with limited space or who want to experiment with container gardening. Choose from various fall vegetable and flower plants to nurture in your grow bag. Accompanying children will have a garden craft and start their own fall veggies. 

Registration is required as spaces are limited. To include as many community members as possible, you can only register for one workshop. Choose either the English workshop from 10:00 - 11:30 am or the Spanish language workshop from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. You will receive an email to confirm your space. Those registering after spaces fill will be on a waiting list.

Nuestro clima templado de otoño nos permite hacer jardinería durante todo el año. La versatilidad de las bolsas de cultivo hace posible cultivar verduras y flores incluso si tiene un espacio limitado. 

Únase a nosotros en un programa especial de jardinería donde podrá aprovechar al máximo esta temporada de crecimiento extendida. Los expertos UC Master Gardeners le enseñarán qué plantas prosperan en días más cortos y noches más frescas, ayudándole a tomar decisiones informadas para su jardín. 

Cada hogar recibirá una bolsa de cultivo, tierra para macetas y una regadera. Estas bolsas de cultivo son una excelente opción para aquellos con espacio limitado o que deseen experimentar con la jardinería en contenedores. Elija entre varias plantas hortalizas y flores de otoño para cultivar en su bolsa de cultivo. Los niños acompañantes tendrán una actividad de jardinería y comenzarán sus propias verduras de otoño. 

La registración es obligatoria ya que los espacios son limitados. Para incluir a la mayor cantidad de personas posible, sólo podrá registrarse en un taller. Elija entre el taller en inglés de 10:00 a 11:30 a.m. o el taller en español de 11:30 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. Recibirá un correo electrónico para confirmar su espacio. Aquellos que se registren después de que se llenen los espacios estarán en una lista de espera.
