Springtime Family Fun!

Spring is peeping around the corner so let's welcome some Peeps!  Come pick up some supplies for a Peep diorama and create a scene representing a favorite book.  Kits will include chick and bunny Peeps as well as some craft supplies to get you started.  Once your creation is complete, send a picture to salinaspubliclibrary [at] gmail.com.  We will post the pictures to our social media pages and ask our followers to vote for their favorites.  

Kits will be available to pick up at all library locations while supplies last.  Kit distribution will begin on Thursday, March 25 at 2pm (during curbside service hours).

Photo submissions must be received by Thursday, April 8th by 6pm. 

Guidelines

• All ages may participate in this event.
• Each household may enter up to two dioramas.
• Create your scene using a small box.  Shoe boxes, cereal boxes and small pizza boxes make great Peep platforms.
• Dioramas should be based on a book OR any item that could be checked out from Salinas Public Library. 
• You are welcome to add more Peeps or other craft items you have.  You are not limited by what is in your kit. 
• Once your diorama is complete, email a picture to salinaspubliclibrary [at] gmail.com
• All pictures must be received by Thursday, April 8th by 6pm.
