Help us design our new state-of-the-art bookmobile!
Over the last four years we have heard from community members about how the library is used now, and how you would like to continue utilizing it in the future. Through dozens of community meetings, surveys, and public input events, we’ve heard you loud and clear: You want Salinas Public Libraries to be safe, accessible and inclusive community places for all ages, which promote curiosity and provide limitless possibilities with an innovative approach to life-long learning.
In an effort to continue to improve our services, over one year ago we applied for and received grants to purchase a brand new bookmobile that will allow us to serve our patrons throughout Salinas even better; and we are happy to say that we are very closed to getting that bookmobile delivered. We look forward to continuing to use this bookmobile to promote and advance literacy by increasing access to high quality books and other materials throughout Salinas. We will resume school visits when it is safe to do so, and we will attend community events and public spaces to increase awareness of library programs and services.
Now we want your input to guide the type of design that bookmobile should proudly display. Please take two minutes to complete our survey.
