We are excited to move to the next step in the design of the El Gabilan Library. Please help us by reviewing the following concepts and studies in how the site, building organization, building mass, and outdoor areas might be created based on different exciting options. We would like your input on the options. We are not selecting options but gathering feedback on each option. This information will be used to further understand the community’s thoughts and opinions for the next step in the design. We look forward to hearing from you!

The site location for the new El Gabilan Library is 1400 North Main St. This is the same location as the existing library, adjacent to the new Credit Union building on the corner of North Main Street and Navajo Drive.

All the design options have the same size building. They all have 2-story libraries that are approximately 20,000 square feet. The building size is based on the needs assessment which was completed through a public outreach process and recommended by the Library Commission. Click here for more information about the designs.
