New approaches to family literacy win the day!

Last Spring our Family Reading Circle program had lots of "points of contact." There were children's games played on the outdoor patio at Cesar Chavez Library, chairs huddled together in half circles with parents practicing their 'reading out loud skills,' and songs with fun rhymes sung over-and-over-again to the delight of the smallest children....

Salinas Public Library will be closed until at least May 3, 2020. Due dates will be extended for all currently borrowed library materials, with no overdue fines. Expiration dates for requested/holds items will also be extended until the library reopen.
