Busy Day in the SNOW
On a cool, Winter day at the Cesar Chavez Library, nearly 1000 youth and family members were welcomed by hot chocolate, edible holiday crafts, at white SNOW. Over 11 tons of snow helped create this unique experience that brought smiles to many who experienced the joy of playing in the cold, wet snow for the first time – in Salinas, of all places. Other highlights of the event included dancing robots, 3D printer creations, as well as interactive science exhibits and projects.
We would like to especially thank all the volunteers who made this event possible, as well as the participation of the Greenfield Community Science Workshop and the Salinas Fire Department who made this an even better experience for our attendees.
