The next occurrence of this event:

Our mild fall climate gives us a nearly year-round growing season, and the versatility of grow bags means you can harvest vegetables and flowers even if you don’t have space for an in-ground garden.

With the coaching of UC Master Gardeners, you’ll learn what plants are best for shorter days and cooler nights, and how to choose, plant, and nurture vegetables and flowers to maximize your harvest and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Each household will get a grow bag with potting soil, a watering can, and choose fall vegetable and flower plants. Accompanying children will have a garden craft and start their own fall veggies.

Register for either the English-language or Spanish-language workshop. Spaces are limited and registration is required.
