The Literacy Center is now using iPads received from the California State Library Literacy Services to help students prepare for the Citizenship Exam. The iPads enable students to practice for the exam, and conduct "mock interviews" so when the actual exam and interview comes, they will be more relaxed and better prepared.

Already, the success rate for passing the exam for students in the program has increased by 30%!  The technology was recently integrated into lesson plans in preparation for 2020 when the exam will be completely administered on a digital platform.
