The next occurrence of this event:

Agriculture is the biggest employer in our county, and it's on the front line of Ag Tech, the next wave sweeping the industry. Women are finding jobs and starting companies that leverage tech to make a difference from planting to harvesting to processing.

If you've wondered how to make a career in agriculture, or how to help a family member get started, join us to meet two women involved in this growing area.

Amy Wu is the communications manager at the Hudson Valley Farm Hub, and an accomplished journalist and author who writes passionately about women (especially minority women) and Ag (especially Salinas Valley). Her book, "From Farms to Incubators" profiles women in California and world-wide who are on the cutting edge of Ag Tech. Katerina Flores is a native of Monterey County, and has worked in the industry since age 15. Her experience with viticulture was expanded as she attained a degree in Wine & Viticulture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She has worked with a variety of Ag businesses, including her current position with Fieldin, an Ag data software company helping growers optimize pest control in orchards and vineyards.

You can attend in-person, or virtually via Zoom.
