String Art DIY Kit for Teens

TEENS: String Art DIY Kit
Create cool wall art with wood, nails, and string. String Art is weaving string between hammered nails to make a geometric pattern. This is a simple, yet intriguing project. We will provide three templates: a heart (difficulty: easy) a star (difficulty: easy), and an owl (difficulty: medium). Kits will be distributed at the El Gabilan Library from 12pm-4pm. Kits are limited and will be distributed on a first comes first served basis. This is a teen program.

Why String Art?
String Art dates back to the 19th century. It started as a way to introduce children to mathematical ideas. String Art relieves stress and improves Mood. It also stimulates the mind and allows people to spend time with friends and family.
