May 6th: Revenge of the Sixth - Star Wars Celebration

Salinas Public Library will be hosting a “Star Wars/Revenge of the Sixth” event on Saturday, May 6th, to celebrate all things Star Wars.

Bring your kids to El Gabilan Public Library for a fun Star Wars Day with activities, games, crafts, and more.  

DIY Pool Noodle Lightsabers
Make a custom lightsaber out of pool noodles. These noodle lightsabers are flexible and fun to play with.

Painting Over Laser Engraved Images
Use acrylics to paint your favorite Star Wars character.

Star Wars Scavenger Hunt
May the force be with you as you search the galaxy (library) for the most popular Star Wars characters.

Star Wars Perler Bead Keychains
Bring your favorite Star Wars character to life with Perler Beads. Perler Beads are small plastic beads that you can arrange on a pegboard to form a design. We will then use an iron and wax paper to melt your beads together and turn them into a keychain.
