DIY Kit: Sand Art Painting

Sand art painting is a FUN, relaxing, and engaging activity that provides children the opportunity to use their fine motor skills and improve their imagination and creativity. Children will peel off the outlines of a provided template and choose different colored sand to sprinkle, which sticks to the exposed sticky part.

Although this activity is designed for children 6+, this is an activity that any age can enjoy.

Materials

• Colored Sand (six colors)
• Sand Art Sheets (x2)
• Plastic Spoon
• Paperclip/Toothpick
• Instructions

DIY Kits will be distributed on a first come, first-served basis at all three library branches on Thursday, October 14th starting at 12pm.
