Are you attracted to magnets? If so, then this drop-in program is for you. In this 4-Week Science Workshop, kids will learn all about magnetism!

In this first week, kids will use magnetic field toys to learn the basics of magnetism.

For ages 7 and up. Younger children can attend with a parent.

This program will be led by the Salinas Community Science Workshop.  

This drop-in Science Workshop will be for 4 weeks.

Thursdays (Nov 10, Nov 17, Dec 1, and Dec 8)

3:30pm – 5pm

Upcoming magnetism workshops:

November 17 – Experimenting with electromagnet and solenoid.

December 1 – Based on electromagnetism from the first 2 weeks, kids will make a motor that spins and/or a speaker.

December 8 - Make a complete circuit with batteries and connector wires to run the little car or hopper or similar project.
