Prepare your soon-to-be kindergartener to confidently step into the first day of school with the help of the Salinas Public Library's Kinder Boot Camps! This year, our Kinder Boot Camps will be accepting incoming transitional kindergarten (TK) students in additional to kindergarten students.

These camps are designed to make a smoother transition to school life by introducing them to classroom routines while promoting social interaction, language, and self-regulation skills. The program is open to all incoming, first-year kindergarten students and incoming transitional kindergarten (TK) students, especially those with limitied preschool exposure. 

Space is very limited and registration is required. Reserve a spot by completing an interest form. You will be contacted to complete additional forms to finalize your registration.


Boot Camp # 1 
Monday - Thursday, July 15 - July 18
9:00am - 11:00am
Cesar Chavez Library  

Additional information:

  • Child must be 5 years of age on or before June 2, 2025
  • Program will be in person (children only)
