We would like to express a massive Thanks! to the nearly 1,500 people that joined us on March 1st to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of our "new" El Gabilan Library. This event had it all: storytime; musical performances; arts and crafts for the entire family; free ice cream and cake; bookmobile and fire truck; Bluey and Bingo; outdoor lawn games; and most importantly community-building. We look forward to another 5 years of serving all library users with excellent customer service and exceptional programming experiences. We also extend our appreciation the library partners that helped make this event a success, including Salinas Fire and Police, FOSPL, YOSAL, and Salinas Recreation Division.
