The next occurrence of this event:

William Kent Krueger writes a mystery series set in Minnesota's north woods. His protagonist, Cork O’Connor, is the former sheriff of Tamarack County and a man of mixed heritage—part Irish and part Ojibwe. In this installment, Ojibwe healer, Henry Meloux suddenly finds himself helping a stranger who is being pursued by vicious mercenaries. Things are complicated as his great niece (Cork's wife) goes with him. Meanwhile, Cork works feverishly to identify the mercenaries but his fiercest enemy in this deadly game of cat and mouse may well be his own deep self-doubt about his ability to save those he loves.

Krueger’s work has received numerous awards, and his last nine novels were all New York Times bestsellers. He’s been married for nearly fifty years and lives in St. Paul, a city he dearly loves.
