Deadline

The federal deadline for 2024 Tax Returns is Tuesday, April 15th     |     Presentar el: 15 de abril de 2025

  • Taxpayers who can’t file by the deadline of April 15, 2024, should request an extension before that deadline
  • Si necesita más tiempo para presentar sus impuestos, obtener una prórroga para presentar su declaración de impuestos antes de la fecha límite de presentación de impuesto en abril

Tax Assistance for Monterey County Residents (by appt and/or drop-in)

  • Alliance on Aging
    • By appt only, schedule online
      • Eligibility: Ages 60yrs or older, blind, and/or disabled with low to moderate income
  • United Way
    • Free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Tax Clinics by appt or some drop-in locations
      • Cesar Chavez Library is a drop-in location* for assistance every Saturday Feb 8th - Apr 12th from 11am-3pm
