Whether you are getting to know the library for the first time or have used our library for years, we are glad you’re here and we want you to feel that this is “your library!” Public libraries have a long history of offering equal and open access to information, education and enrichment to the communities that they serve. At the Salinas Public Library, we are committed to helping every member of our community achieve their educational and vocational goals, as well as providing safe and inclusive spaces for residents to meet, learn and connect with one another.

From books, DVDs, music and e-Books to programs for preschoolers, teenagers, parents and senior adults, it is our goal to provide useful and meaningful services to people in all ages and stages of life.
