Spring is here! Stop by the Salinas Public Library to pick up a DIY KIT to weave a rainbow and make a moving caterpillar. These activities are perfect for children ages five and up.

 

The John Newbery Medal is awarded to the book for outstanding contribution to children's literature. This year the winner is "The Last Cuentista,” written by Donna Barba Higuera. All other books on this list are Newbery Honor Books.
