DIY Kit: Create a Sun Print (Cyanotype)
The next occurrence of this event:
Explore the world of solar science by making your own solar prints! Spark curiosity and anticipation for the solar eclipse. Each child's kit will come with special (cyanotype) paper, directions, and a few items to get your creativity flowing. Cyanotype sun prints are created by exposure to the sun. When objects such as leaves, flowers, and other shapes are placed on top of the paper in the sun, the shadows left behind create the print! Add your own unique items from home or nature to create a truly one of a kind piece. Stop by any Salinas Public Library to pick up this DIY kit for kids.
Available from 2PM - 6PM, or while supplies last.
