Join us this Spring for FREE Guerrilla Filmmaking action!
Salinas Public Library has teamed up with CSUMB's Teledramatic Arts & Technology department to give local Teens the opportunity to create original films at their Library. Now YOU can now learn how to use digital video equipment and powerful Apple computers to produce your own movies.
What Is Guerrilla Filmmaking
Guerrilla filmmaking refers to a form of independent filmmaking characterized by low budgets, skeleton crews, and simple props using whatever is available. The advent of digital cameras and editing systems such as Final Cut Pro are a contributing factor to the increase in guerrilla filmmaking. Digital editing is a cheap and easy form of editing that allows the filmmaker to edit anywhere and on a low budget.
