Four Saturday Meetings
Applications are due by Feb. 5, 2014

We are looking for 20 students in Grades 5-8 to take part in this special class. Build a working telescope that you will keep. Learn about optics, the history and future of science, human biology in space, and much more! Field experiences will include trips to the Hartnell Planetarium and the Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland. The class is free but an application is required. Join us as we celebrate Lunar New Year at the library! Salinas Public Library will celebrate the Year of the Horse with fun activities for the children and adults including, a presentation, crafts, special story times, and Chinese lion dance.
