Murlie Hanson, award-winning author of "The Christmas Tooth Fairy," the "Mom's Choice Awards" gold medal recipient for excellence in children's picture books, and featured author in numerous magazines will be visiting the Salinas library to spark imaginations with rhymes and magical thinking.

Let the Monterey Bay Aquarium treat you this holiday season. Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito County residents receive free aquarium admission between Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 14 during its annual community open house.

Free admission for Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito County residents is an annual thank you to the community for its support of the non-profit aquarium. It’s a great time of year to experience the wonders of the aquarium. Admission is good for all aquarium exhibits and programs, including our newest exhibit Tentacles. During Community Open House week on Sunday, December 7 and 14th, there will be bilingual feeding shows.
