The Salinas Public Library has been a resource for low to moderate income adults needing to file their tax returns for many years now. This year, in addition to hosting the United Way Vita FREE tax prep program, the library will also be offering Myfreetaxes.com workshops at John Steinbeck Library. At these workshops, adults will learn about the software in group instruction, and then each person will work on their own return on a computer with guidance from the leader. The room is set up to encourage privacy but some discussion may be overheard by others.
